Swimwear to suit every figure- Colours and Patterns

  • March 4, 2010 at 5:36 pm

So hopefully our advice has helped you to discover the right shaped swimwear to flatter your figure, but there is also a wide selection of colours and patterns which can maximise or assets and minimise your flaws. Firstly, horizontal stripes will add curves to athletic body types. If you would like to draw attention away from your chest, or similarly your bottom half, simply choose a block colour, remember black is particularly slimming. Another good tip for pear shapes or top heavy shapes is to wear a block colour on the part you want to minimise and a pattern on the part you want to emphasise. Bright colours will always flatter a tan and smaller patterns will make you look slimmer as well as vertical stripes. There is such a variety to choose from out there, so happy shopping girls and remember it’s easy to feel self conscious when baring all, but when you are confident that you have the most flattering swimwear for you, all those insecurities will slip away.

Swimwear to suit every figure- Part One

  • March 1, 2010 at 5:31 pm

We all come in different shapes and sizes and we all know which clothes to wear to flatter our shape. That’s why when it comes to bearing all on the beach or by the pool, it can be quite daunting. But just like clothes, there are bikinis and swimsuits available to suit every figure! Here are a few handy tips. If you are pear shaped and want to minimise your bottom half, choose styles with plain bottoms and a printed top, this will draw attention away from your hips and towards your top half. Remember, plain sleek style bottoms are much more slimming than those with flouncy skirts and details as these just add inches. If you’re conscious of your tummy area, you can either go for a well cut one piece, or a tankini worn with a high-waisted pair of briefs can look just as flattering as a traditional two piece. Taking care of your Gel Swimwear and Silicone Breast Enhancers

  • February 26, 2010 at 10:13 pm

We’ve already covered lingerie care, in terms of getting the most out of your under wear. But, we mustn’t forget that both gel swimwear and silicone breast enhancers also need TLC too. Did you know that with the correct care and maintenance, a set of enhancers can last for years?! Making them a very sound investment.  To keep your breast enhancers in tip-top condition, ensure that you wash them regularly in warm soapy water and pat dry with a soft towel. When it comes to gel bikinis and gel tankinis, it is important that you really take care of the fabric, as it is likely to be exposed to salty sea water, chlorine and direct sunlight. All of which can take its toll. To prevent this damage, it is essential that you rinse your swimwear immediately after each use and make sure it is not left to dry in direct sunlight or heat, especially if you’re lucky enough to be holidaying in a hot country.
